How it all went down.....

So a couple of days back, I decided to take an ill fated trip to my local Wal Mart.  I did what most of us do...buy things I didnt come in for.  I paced the aisles looking and row after row of bargoons and things I know I definitely needed....maybe.

I hit the register and whipped out my credit card from my fancy schmancy Betsy Johnson stunner of a wallet. It was black, gold zipper and the nameplate glistened with Betsy's name...the skulls pressed into the lush leather were enough to put anyone over the edge.

My lovely looked like this but with a rectangle name plate :( *les sigh*
I loaded up my purchases and placed my wallet in the kiddie seat of the cart, placed my phone on top and out the door I went.  I loaded my treasures into my truck, returned my cart and headed home.  I enjoyed a night of family fun at home and had a nice and restful sleep :)

The next day, I decided it would be a great day to take my mother shopping...I dressed and got myself all brash and sassy and headed to grab my purse....red flag....empty cavern...light as air purse....lack of telltale sparkle from the golden zipper....WHA??

Heat...it ran through my viens and into my face followed closely buy the cool tingle of disbelief.  My body felt like lead....I began to slowly look around my kitchen, bedroom and truck....no wallet...I began to look quicker and harder than ever before.....NOTHING!  I enlisted the help of my mother....to which I revealed the contents...$1400 cash and my credit cards and I.D.

Why have $1400 in your wallet you say...I say why not??  Just kidding...I had gone to pay a credit card bill with extra cash I had and found that the bank was closed that day and I resolved to go the next day.  Anyhow...now we are 24 hours later and I phone Wal Mart...no Wallet....Po Po's....nada....I canvas the entire plaza.....I got more shameful looks than a puppy in a dumpster (ok, maybe not as many as that, but close!)

****Sidenote:  To the person that may have found my wallet and may/may not have the contents....please feel free to return her to me...she is cold and lonely and needs medication daily...she has allergies and can be temperamental...she has a child that loves her....

It has been 5 days since she has been lost and instead of constantly mourning her loss/my idiocy, I decided to get out there and have some fun with this....welcome to the 'WHERE MY WALLET ISNT' blog...I will share with you places that do not hold my lost wallet (not just a clever name eh?..yes I am Canadian)
